Het Reorganisatie Bureau (The Restructuring Desk) / Het Arbeidsrecht Bureau (The Employment Law Desk): (hereinafter: “the office”) respects your personal data and privacy and ensures that the personal information provided to the office or otherwise obtained is treated confidentially. However, the services of the office cannot or with difficulty be provided without processing personal data. This is done in accordance with the laws and regulations, including the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: “GDPR”). Personal data is all information about a person. Data that indirectly says something about someone is also personal data. The following implements the obligation to inform laid down in the GDPR towards the data subject (s) whose personal data the office processes.

Website visit

The own websites used by the office are:

You can consult the Website(s) anonymously. When you visit the Website(s), some technical data may be stored, including:

  • IP address (anonymous);
  • technical features such as the browser you use (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, etc.);
  • the resolution of your computer screen and which device you are using;
  • which pages you visit on the Website(s), and
  • from which webpage you came to one of the Website(s).

This information from visitors to the Website(s) is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • being able to offer access to the Website(s);
  • determining user statistics and other statistical purposes;
  • being able to offer services or parts of information that is / are offered on the Website(s) that the visitor requests.

The data will not be used for other purposes, unless unambiguous permission has been given. The data will not be processed in a way that is incompatible with the purpose of the processing.

If you fill in the contact form or sign up to receive the hourly rate, the price packages and/or newsletter - with which you give permission to process the personal data provided - the following personal data will be processed:

  • name;
  • e-mail address;
  • whether you are an employee or act on behalf of an employer.

If you receive commercial information from the office and do not wish to receive it anymore, you can indicate this free of charge to the e-mail address below. If you do so, no more commercial information will be sent. The office will delete the registered e-mail address if you do not use the other services.

Cookies or similar techniques

The office only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. When you visit the Website(s), you will see a bar at the bottom of the Website(s) pointing out the use of cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies that the office uses are necessary for the technical operation of the website and ease of use. They ensure that the Website(s) work properly and, for example, remember preferred settings. The office can also use this to optimize the Website(s). You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser in such a way that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously saved via your browser settings.

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of personal data by the office and you have the right to data transferability. This means that you can submit a request to the office to send you your personal data in a computer file. If you want to make use of these rights, or if you have other questions about data processing, please send a specified request to info@hetarbeidsrechtbureau.nl. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, I ask that you include a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy.

How the office secures personal data

The firm takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. For example, the Website(s) are provided with an SSL certificate. This means that all traffic takes place via a secure connection.

Use of social media

Buttons and/or links are included on the Website(s) to promote or share web pages on social (media) networks or websites of third parties, such as Twitter, Linkedin or Facebook. The office does not supervise and is not responsible for the processing of your personal data by and through such third parties. The use of those media is therefore at your own risk. Before using those services of third parties, it is advisable to first read the privacy statement of those third parties.
This privacy statement was adopted in 2020.

Adjustment of Privacy Statement

The office has the right to change the content of this Privacy Statement at any time, without prior notice. Amendments to the Privacy Statement will be published on the Website(s) of the office. Therefore, consult the Website(s) regularly.

Engagement letter

To new clients the assignment is confirmed by means of an engagement letter. Attached to this letter are the General Terms & Conditions as well as a Privacy Statement in Dutch and in English specifically for clients.
